…is the process of making sure that all surfaces are smooth, flush, square where they should be, rounded where they should be, and ready for finishing. I’m using a random orbital sander for the bulk of this work. I’ve had the ROS for just a few weeks, but I already can’t imagine being without it. It saves so much time and effort.
I built this downdraft table a couple weeks ago. It helps keep the airborne dust level down.

Now I just have to round off some edges by hand, work a little more on the headstock, and it’ll be ready to start spraying.
