Here’s a 12 string electric I built a couple months ago. The materials are somewhat un-traditional. The body is Douglas fir, and the top is Osage Orange. Neck is mahogany, and the fretboard and headstock veneer are cocobolo. It has Stew-macs Golden Age humbucker pickups.
Fretboard radius is 16″. Frets are stainless steel. The neck has a 2 way truss rod, and the neck/headstock area is re-enforced with carbon fiber rods.
It’s very thin. The back is about 1″ thick.
Sounds great! But, I have too many guitars laying around, so I just listed this one on fleabay.
